ASOMAssageMusic.com is hosted by HostPapa.ca and is also subject to their privacy policies and terms and conditions.  This page summarizes our privacy policy and practices.

We do not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number, e-mail or address. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily, usually through contacting us via E-mail, or registering in a secure portion of the site such as or music subscriptions.

Any personal information you do provide is protected under the federal Privacy Act. This means that, at the point of collection, you will be informed that your personal information is being collected, the purpose for which it is being collected and that you have a right of access to the information.

We use software that receives and records the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer that has contacted our Web site. We make no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our site except in cases of fraud or suspected hacking attempts.   We do track download activity for the subscriptions including IP Address and Subscription Number in order to implement our restriction of 25 file downloads per month and to prevent faudulent attemps to access to these files and to circumnavigate the security methods in place.

We use "cookies" in the Member portion of the website for purchase CDs  and Subscriptions which uses paypal.com.  In the non-member portion of the website, beacons are used to track which sample sound tracks are being played so that we can manage our bandwith.  In this data, the IP Addresses are encrypted so that we can tell what activity originates at the same IP address, but what or where that IP address is located.  This helps us to manage our bandwidth which is a major concern when running a website with large volumes of file downloads.
